High Level Report: CCUS in Europe - at the verge of a real break-trough

This second High-Level Report aims to provide an overview of the recent developments for Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage (CCUS) in Europe, as well as a short analysis of the key elements driving the deployment of CCUS. These elements can be considered ‘game changers’ for CCUS and include increased internal pressure to realise the ambitions stipulated in the European Green Deal and enshrined in the EU Climate Law as well as increased global climate ambitions.

High Level Report : CCUS in Europe

This first High-Level Report aims to provide an overview of the need for Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage (CCUS) in Europe, as well as a better understanding of its potential and recent developments in Europe. It also introduces all of the current CCUS Projects Network members and identifies the key aspects in which these projects are sharing knowledge.
